Tim's Rock

One sunny morning, a curiouslittle boy named Tim went for a walk. He saw a big tree and wanted to climb it. As he started to climb, he found something shiny in the leaves.

It was a pretty rock that had a mark on it. Tim picked up the rock and put it in his pocket. He continued walking and saw a girl named Sue playing with her ball. “Hi!” said Tim. “Look what I have!” He showed Sue the shiny rock he found. “Wow, that’s pretty!” said Sue. They both looked at the tree and smiled. Just then, something strange happened.

The shiny rock started to glow! It was not a rock at all. It turned into a beautiful butterfly!

Tim and Sue were so surprised. They played with the butterfly all morning until it became their new friend. One day, a little boy named Tim went to the beach with his mom.

He saw something big and furry in the water. It was an octopus! The octopus had many colors on its body. “Mom, look at the octopus!” said Tim.

His mom looked up and smiled.
