Tim's Lock

On top of a hill, there was abig tree. A little boy named Tim and his dog, Spot, liked to play near the tree every day. One sunny day, they decided to go up the hill together.

They were very happy. As they walked, Tim saw something unknown on the ground. It looked like a big box with a lock on it. Tim was curious, but he didn’t want Spot to know what was inside the box.

He tried to open it, but he could not do it alone. Tim thought about how to open the lock. He got an idea! Tim found a key and put it in the lock.

The lock fit! When they opened the box, they saw lots of colorful balls inside. They were so happy and played with the balls all day long.

One day, a boy named Tim went for a walk. It was an icy cold day. He wore his big coat to stay warm.

As he walked, he saw a bird in a tree. The bird sang a pretty song. “Hi, bird! You sing so nice!” said Tim.

The bird flew down and sang another song too. “You have a long neck,” said the bird.
