Tim's Poem

One sunny morning, a curiouslittle boy named Tim went for a walk. He saw a big tree and wanted to climb it. As he started to go up, he stumbled on a piece of paper.

The paper had a poem inside. Tim picked up the poem and read it out loud. It was about a cat who could talk. But then, something unexpected happened!

Tim’s dog, Max, jumped in front of him and made him jump back down. Max looked at Tim with big, sad eyes. He wanted to read the poem too! Tim laughed and said, “Silly Max!” He showed that he could hear things from high up in the tree.

From then on, Tom loved to watch TV, but only when Sam came over. And Max learned not to jump near them again.
