By the river, a friendlybird made of ice. It was so beautiful! Every day, the sun shone and the birds sang as they flew over it. One day, a little girl saw the lake and decided to take a closer look.

She got closer to the water, but then suddenly, she slipped and fell into the cold water. The lake began to freeze! The friendly bird heard her crying and came running out of the lake. It was very sad when it had no way to get back home.

It flew away with a heavy heart. But one day, an old man heard the little girl’s cries. He came running to rescue her! He helped her get into his kayak and they went out into the cold water.

They were so happy to be together again!
