Lily's Ball

Once upon a time, there was a littlegirl named Lily. She had a pretty dress with flowers on it. One day, she went to the park and saw some other children playing with a ball.

The ball was big and round, and it made her want to play too. Lily asked the other children if they wanted to play with her, but they said no because their balls were too high for them. Lily didn’t give up though. She tried to climb on the fence to reach the ball, but she slipped and fell down.

The other children laughed at her, but Lily was persistent. She got very sad and went back home without the ball. Her mom saw how sad she looked and asked her what was wrong. Lily told her about the ball and how much it meant to her.

Her mom said that it’s okay if not knowing everything about the ball, and that we should always try to find something that you don’t really know. Later that day, Lily went back to the park with a big smile on her face. She saw a boy playing with his ball and asked him if he wanted to play too.
