Tom's Aeroplane

In a small village, there lived aboy named Tom. He liked to play outside with his friends. One day, he saw a big, shiny thing in the sky.

It was an aeroplane! Tom wanted to touch the aeroplane, but it was too high up. He asked his friend Sam, “Can you help me get closer to the aeroplane?” Sam said, “I will try, Tom.” But Tom did not know that there might be a big bird on top of the aeroplane. Tom and Sam tried to jump high to touch the aeroplane, but they still could not reach it. They felt sad because they wanted to touch the aeroplane so much.

Then, Tom’s mom came outside with a long stick. She said, “I will help you.” With one big push, Tom and Sam touched the aeroplane. It started to shake and then it fell down.

But it was not an ordinary aeroplane at all! It turned into a big, beautiful bird. The bird thanked Tom and Sam for saving its life and flew away into the sky. Tom and Sam were very happy that they could help the bird.
