Spot's Cat

By the river, a friendlydog named Spot had been searching for something special. He spotted something shiny in the water and he decided to get closer to investigate. As he got closer, he saw it was a big, scary cat!

Spot was so scared that he hid behind the riverbank. The cat looked at Spot with a curious face, but then seemed surprised. The cat said “Hello little pup, why are you looking out of this pond?” Spot replied, “I want to find something special and I’m not sure what it is.” The cat smiled and said, “Well, that’s ok. Just be careful next time you come near the river, you never know what might happen.” Spot thanked the cat before running away.

He was so excited to explore this new place - he knew that if anything ever happened to him, he would need to go back and find out!
