Lily asked her mommy what it was and she said, “It looks old and some people have lived there for years.” Lily wanted to examine the book more closely, so she put on her coat and went downstairs. As they looked at the book, something unexpected happened. The pictures started moving! Suddenly, a little monster appeared out of nowhere and landed right in front of them.

It had big eyes that looked like a monster, but it was friendly and just wanted to play. Lily and her mommy were surprised, but they didn’t mind because the monster was so funny and interesting. They played with the monster for hours until it finally disappeared back into the ancient book. From then on, whenever Lily looked at pictures of ancient things, she would think of the silly monster that appeared in their attic.
